Soul Harvest Outreach Ministry

(SHOM) originated as Street Harvest Outreach Ministry in January 2000. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the founder and a team of like-minded believers began witnessing from Street corners sharing the Good News of Christ's Gospel at every opportunity. Later prompted in 2003 to rename the ministry to Soul Harvest Outreach. In 2008 our efforts of the ministry broadened to visitations of those confined to hospices, hospitals, prisons, and youth facilities; praying with and encouraging them as led by the Lord. Today, along with a coalition of ministries we regulary reach out to the homeless by witnessing, serving food, sharing clothing, bibles, tangible goods, and encouraging literature. We reach out door-to-door into our communities sharing the Gospel verbally and through heavy Trac witnessing. Our goal is to share Christ's gospel and encourage God's people at every opportunity while committed to fellowship and service to our local Church. We fervently strive to love and serve as Jesus served, and to obey His mandate to be witnesses of Him.

GOD'S PLAN FOR EVERY SOUL

The Bible tells us God's desire for mankind, and it explains His Plan of Salvation:

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackeness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The bible says there is one way to heaven:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me."

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord, you are separated from God our heavenly Father & Creator. Good works cannot secure anyone a place in heaven.

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Luke 13:5 Jesus said: "I tell you, Nay: but , except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE SAVED?

You must first acknowledge that you are a sinner, and willing to Repent [turn away from sins] ...

Acts 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There are none righteous, no, not one."

Believe on Jesus, that He was born of a virgin, died for you, was buried, and rose again by the power of the Holy Spirit:

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Romans 5:8 "But God commedeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us."

Sincerely pray, confessing your faults; and invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Savior:

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thou mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Romans 10:10 "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Now pray this prayer, or one similar:

Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner in need of forgiveness. I believe that your Son Jesus died for my sins. I am willing to turn away from my sins. I invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and to be Lord and Savior over my Life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

John 1:12 "As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."

We strive to follow Christ's final mandate given to His disciples before He ascended. The Great Commission can be found at Matthew 28:18 - 20 (KJV) "And Jesus came and spake unto them saying, All power is given to Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
